Acclaimed actor, musician and educator, Adam has performed extensively with numerous artists around the world. 

A working drummer-percussionist for over 50 years, he has played for RAY CHARLES, VINCE GILL, DARLENE LOVE, MANHATTAN TRANSFER, MICHELLE WRIGHT, TOMMY NEWSOM, TINY TIM, CHARLES BROWN, OLIVER JONES, SHIRLEY EIKHARD, TOMMY HUNTER, RONNIE HAWKINS, ORCH. TORONTO, K/W SYMPHONY, STRATFORD SYMPHONY ORCH.  He provided all drums and percussion on twp JUNO-winning albums for CHRIS McKHOOL and JUDY & DAVID.

A music education specialist for the Toronto board since 1979, he is also a YAMAHA endorsed clinician.  In 1981, Adam received a Canada Council grant to study privately with masters Peter Erskine, Ed Soph and Irv Cottler.  For 29 years he led a percussion program at the Claude Watson School for the Arts.  He has also

been the percussion coach at Toronto's prestigious HAVERGAL College since 2009, now with multiple award-winning ensembles.

His two most prominent bands -

The SWINGIN' BLACKJACKS ~ authentic roots-rockin' blues  and  The GENE POOL BOYS ~ timeless soulful jazz -

have remained active throughout Ontario for over 3 decades.

As actor, he's widely known for portraying the English teacher on the ground-breaking TV series, DEGRASSI HIGH.  Other roles include: 

FLASHPOINT, SOULFOOD, MURDOCH MYSTERIES, GOOD WITCH, STREET LEGAL, Ricky Gervais' SPECIAL CORRESPONDENTS, SUITS series finale and most recently,

Paramount's debut episode of THE WESTIES.  Plus numerous commercials and voice-overs.

Adam now resides in Stratford, Ontario with his wife, Cathy.  Among favourite diversions, drums, dogs and dining rank high.
